Art London is an annual exhbition that takes place in the refined atmosphere of a marquee in Chelsea's Royal Hospital Gardens. It is a wonderful setting for over eighty galleries from London and around the world to exhibit their most exciting and recent works.
Charlotta Janssen
New York Artist Charlotta Janssen will be exhibiting work from her series painted in the Dominican Republic and created to understand and promote the local cocoa farmers.
Bianca Smith
Bianca Smith has created a new collection of works for this show. It is based on her own "grand tour" of famous world sculpture. These works are all gauche on board in bold ebonised frames and include her interpretations of Rodin's Kiss, Achilles by Sir Richard Westacott and the Statue of Liberty by Frederic-Auguste Bartholde.
Jean-Marc Louis
We are taking a number of oil paintings from Jean-Marc Louis' latest collection of works titled Mabprachan 2007. These are abstract landscapes inspired by the lake near his studio in Thailand.
He uses a number of mediums, old canvas, linen and paper as well as paint and chalk which typify his work. Jean-Marc has also created a number of one off sculptures "serie form" 2007 that will also be shown here for the first time
Pieter Vanden Daele
Pieter Vanden Daele has created four new pieces to add to his extraordinary life like colleciton of sculptured fish. They are all cast in bronze as limited editions and then have Pieter's incredible patinated finish applied.
Come and meet "Bona Ventura","Ignatius","Jacobus" and "Titus" at the exhibition for the first time.
Sandra Shashou
Sandra shashou the award wining artist will be showing work from her new series titled 'Precious Time'.
