May '08 - RHS Chelsea Flower Show - 20 - 24 May

The Sieff Gallery is excited to be taking two talented artists to the RHS Chelsea Flower Show. Firsty, Pieter Vanden Daele whose lifelike bronze sculptures are exhibited in many gardens all over the world.

The gallery is also taking along the work of the Russian botanical artist Sergei Bender. Sergei has been living and working in Britain since 1991 and quickly became established as a leading contemporary freelance artists.

With solo shows at the Metz and Ashbee galleries in London he has become a much sought after artist. His background in classical art schooling at the Russian acadamy of arts in St. Petersburg, combined with his use of contemporary materials has allowed Sergei to fill an exciting niche creating large graphic work of leaves, flowers, shells and fossils. Sergei Bender undertakes private commissions.
